Mast Curry
The idea of Mast Curry came from a true incident that concerned a very dear friend of mine.

The narrative of Mast Curry; though cast in an escapist mould, addresses a very serious issue - the growing incidents of suicides in urban India - reportedly by over 50% according to a front-page news-report in The Hindustan Times.

MAST CURRY

Honey Kapoor is depressed, he wants to commit suicide. However, he can't commit it and he realizes may be he wants to have a perfect 'fill' before dying.

He decides to have good food, relax and date a very nice desirable girl before committing suicide. The girl who turns up, Saira, is however, a hooker.

While Honey wants to make love; all Saira can give is sex!

They strike a deal, Honey will let Saira - a trained journalist film his suicide - so that she can overnite become a sought after journalist and Saira will make love to Honey.

Saira fulfills her part; however before Honey can fulfill his part he gets a call from his ex-girlfriend, Kelly. Kelly informs Honey that he has signed a 3 film deal with Yash-light; now Honey wants to backtrack, but Saira will have none of it.

Saira wants Honey dead; if not suicide, it will be a murder!
